Before you book
Do you come to me, or do I bring the car to you?+
Both. Detailing, sealants and maintenance details are mobile — we come to your home or work. Paint correction and ceramic coating happen at the Hoxton Park studio. Plainly: anyone offering a full correction and coating in a windy driveway is cutting a corner you'll see later.
What's the difference between the 6 month sealant and a coating package?+
The sealant is a quick, thin protective layer applied after a detail — it gives the slick, beading behaviour for around six months. A coating package includes full decontamination and paint correction, then a much harder, thicker layer that lasts two, three or seven years.
Is paint correction included in a coating package?+
Yes, always. Coating over uncorrected paint just locks the swirls in.
Which coating length should I pick?+
Think about how long you're keeping the car. Keeping it a few years — the 3 year, now from $650 (was $850). Keeping it for good — the 7 year, which currently includes rims and windows free.
How long will my car be with you?+
A mobile detail is done the same day at your place. Correction and coating usually need the car in the studio for one to three days, depending on the paint and the package — we'll give you a firm answer at inspection.
What about aftercare?+
We look after it. A $100 maintenance detail at your place keeps the coating performing, and you get written aftercare on handover. Day to day: two buckets, pH-neutral shampoo, no automatic washes.
Do you take on older or neglected cars?+
Yes — heavily oxidised paint is some of the most satisfying work we do. We'll tell you honestly at inspection what can be brought back and what can't.
